Bespoke Animal Portraiture

Whether its a much loved family pet or a thoroughbred race horse, Sonia works closely with the customer to ensure the final piece of art captures the personality and character of the animal.

The process normally begins with a photo shoot, during which Sonia will take a great many shots of the animal in many different poses, and light settings.

From these photos the customer and Sonia will together agree on a final pose which truly captures the animal’s character as the owner sees it. From this final image Sonia will create a beautifully painted portrait that captures the character and personality of the animal for ever.
